The message “It’s Good to Ask” is aimed at every patient, client, resident and/or family member. However, this message cannot be communicated without health care providers. Health care providers encourage patient involvement and open communication through actively listening to patient concerns and encouraging questions.
All health care settings in British Columbia are encouraged to participate in the It’s Good to Ask Program. After the initial launch of information for patients (November 2009), the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council and its partners will be working to launch It’s Good to Ask and materials for health care providers and organizations across the Province. Please check back soon.
There are NO copyright or reprinting permissions required for the Good to Ask materials or copy. In references to the materials or copy, we do ask that BC Patient Safety & Quality Council be credited as the source for the materials or copy.
