Mandatory Reporting of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI): Can U.S. Experience Inform Canadian Policy?

This event aims to bring together US and Canadian researchers and policy makers to discuss what is known and to raise awareness about the strengths and limitations of HAI mandatory public reporting. This will help inform a research program that evaluates effective strategies to enhance the value of HAI reporting with regard to enhancing data accessibility and quality so reports are meaningful to the public. This event is a symposium of the Universities Council Associated with the Washington State Health Department's Healthcare Associated Infections program.
