Melanie Rathgeber

Melanie joined the Council as Quality Leader. in July 2009. Her six years experience facilitating healthcare providers and system leaders contribute to the Council’s commitment to improving safety and quality through innovative system-wide collaborations.

Melanie specializes in indicators and measurement strategies, and advises the Council in quality measurement and indicator frameworks. She is a Faculty Member of the Council’s Quality Academy, and plays a key role in planning and delivering programming.

Previously with the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council, Melanie provided leadership in province-wide quality improvement and provincial education programs for physicians and other healthcare providers. She has presented at many conferences across North America on critical topics relating to patient safety, wait times and quality improvement.

Melanie holds a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in psychology and epidemiology.
