Julian Marsden FCFP (EM)

Dr. Julian Marsden joined the Council in January 2011, as Clinical Director, supporting the Clinical Care Management (CCM) initiative. He is a Clinical Professor, UBC Department of Emergency Medicine, and has been an active physician in the Emergency Department of St. Paul’s Hospital, Providence Health Care,  since 1992.

Dr. Marsden participated in the formation and early development of the UBC Department of Emergency Medicine in full recognition of the opportunities this affords to improve emergency health service delivery.

In keeping with his interest in education, since 2006 he has helped lead Evidence to Excellence, funded by the BC Ministry of Health Services, which aims to bring together emergency health care providers to share clinical and operational knowledge with the vision of improving emergency care across BC.
