Heidi lives in Prince George and joined the Council in February 2011, as a part-time Quality Leader supporting the congestive heart failure strategy for Clinical Care Management (CCM). She is also involved with the integration, quality coaching, and mentoring at Northern Health with the Quality and Innovation Department.

Heidi has more than 12 years’ experience in health care, much of it working in vocational rehab for Mental Addiction Services at Northern Health. She was instrumental in organizing programs for patients to learn skills that would transfer into ongoing employment. Heidi served as a conduit between patients, the community, and the health care system.More recently, Heidi has been working in the Practice Support Program facilitating the Mental Health Module and working towards primary health care integration with Northern Health.Heidi participated in the first cohort of the Council’s Quality Academy, and is excited about being part of positive change in the health care system.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, from the University of Northern BC, with a focus on health policy.
